“I arrived to the Transformative Pedagogy as a consequence of having inquired into the nature of my being, in pursuit of my own happiness”.
The Schools for transformation Foundation is a non-governmental, nonprofit, apolitical and non-religious organisation funded by the Spanish teacher Victoria Subirana.
The aim of the Schools for transformation is to establish free QUALITY EDUCATION PROJECTS for children and teenagers, who don’t have access to education, whether it’s due to their economical situation or any kind of ethnic and / or religious discrimination, situation of risk, or because they come from the most vulnerable part of the society in Nepal or other countries with similar characteristics, whilst totally respecting and remaining faithful to the particular ways of living in the project’s current location.
Since 1990, Victoria Subirana through the Eduqual Foundation has been managing and carrying out different projects based on the pedagogy as a tool to transform the society.
In 2016 the Eduqual Foundation became the Schools For Transformation Foundation.
The objectives of the SCHOOLS FOR TRANSFORMATION FOUNDATION are:
SCHOOLING OF THE POOR AND MARGINALISED CHILDREN
CONTINUOUS PEDAGOGICAL INVESTIGATION
TRAINING OF THE PROFESSIONALS IN THE AREA OF EDUCATION
